Why it's a deal: According to a recent search on Kayak, the lowest round-trip fare to Buffalo from Baltimore is $140, including taxes, for departures in mid-July (Continental). Lodging: Three nights at the Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview, which overlooks the falls. You'll stay in a standard room with one king bed or two queen beds, basic amenities, and views of either Niagara Falls or the city. A glass-enclosed walkway connects the hotel to a casino complex, where you'll find 150 gaming tables, 3,000 slot machines, several restaurants, shops, and a wedding chapel.
More: If you'd like to stay longer, you can do so for an additional $88 per person per night for midweek stays at the Hilton Niagara Falls.
Before you go: For up-to-date visitor information, see the official tourism Web site of Niagara Falls. The area enjoys warm, sunny days in the summer with daytime highs in the 80s—visitors will appreciate the refreshingly cool mist as they get close to the falls. But because the summer is also the peak tourist season, try to schedule your trip for September, when the tours are still operating but the crowds are smaller.
