Earlier this month, singer M.I.A. angrily denied a report by Latina.com claiming she'd named her baby son Ickitt. Maybe not, but according to a TMZ.com report, the baby's name is Ikhyd.

British singer M.I.A.'s newborn son has a name -- and according to TMZ.com's report and photo of the birth certificate, it's a mouthful. The gossip site has posted a scan of a birth certificate listing the boy's name as Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman.

Earlier this month, Latina.com reported that British singer M.I.A., whose own real name is Mathangi Arulpragasam, had named her son Ickitt. But later that day, the singer posted to her MySpace blog that the name was wrong.

"My baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit or Lickit, thank you very much!" the singer wrote. "I didn't release the baby name because I didn't think it was news. ... Go pick on Apple, Satchel and Moon Unit!"

M.I.A. gave birth on Feb. 11, three days after she memorably danced and sang at the Feb. 8 Grammy Awards, drawing admiration and some disbelief for performing so actively on the very day her child was due.

The baby is M.I.A.'s first child, and his father is musician Benjamin Brewer, son of music mogul Edgar Bronfman Jr.

On her MySpace Weblog, the Grammy- and Oscar-nominated rapper posted, "Me and baby are putting our tour dates for 2010 together."

M.I.A. co-wrote and performs the "Slumdog Millionaire" song, "O... Saya," which lost the best original song Oscar to another "Slumdog" tune, "Jai Ho," at the Feb. 22 Academy Awards.

Little Ikhyd won't be the only Hollywood kid having trouble finding personalized items at the neighborhood store.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck named their daughter Seraphina Rose, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz named their son Bronx Mowgli, and Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani named their son Zuma Nesta Rock. And perhaps the longest star baby name in recent memory was awarded by Lisa Bonet, who named her son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa.
