Freida Pinto denies dating ‘Slumdog’ co-star

LOS ANGELES - Freida Pinto has shot down rumors she is dating her “Slumdog Millionaire” co-star, Dev Patel.

“No we are not,” Frieda said when Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell asked the beauty on the Oscar red carpet, where she was joined by some of her “Slumdog” co-stars. “We’re not dating, no.”

“I thought she was going to say something else,” Dev added. “But of course, we’re not.”

In fact, Freida said none of her “Slumdog” co-stars were interested in dating her.

“Not interested, not interested,” she laughed, referring to her male co-stars, including Dev and Anil Kapoor, who stood by her side on the way into the show.

While he denied dating Freida, Dev admitted to having a few celebrity crushes.

“It comes with the territory… Julia Roberts… Eva Longoria [Parker], Angelina Jolie,” he smiled.

Beyond crushes, Dev said he was eager to meet some of his heroes on Oscar night.

“Jim Carrey Will Smith, I look up to those guys, if one of them walk past me on the red carpet, I’ll flip out,” he said.

In fact, Anil noted that attending the Oscars was a very, very big deal for the “Slumdog Millionaire” gang.

“The biggest night of all our lives. It’s a dream come true for all of us,” Anil said.
