Mickey Rourke continued his outspoken ways Thursday, this time taking aim at rocker Courtney Love.

While being photographed and videotaped on the streets of London, “The Wrestler” star was asked about the rumor that he was dating the former Hole front lady.

“I’d rather be on a deserted island with a gorilla,” Rourke told the reporters.

Rourke’s jab comes on the heels of reports that the Oscar-nominated actor allegedly texted Love asking her out on a date following his Golden Globe win, and that they have been an item for weeks.

Judging from Rourke’s comment, fans should not expect to see Love on the actor’s arm at the Oscars on Feb. 22.
