Sheridan's character started off the season newly married to a man calling himself Dave Williams. The show revealed that Williams is not his real name, and the man is seeking revenge on fellow Wisteria Lane resident Mike Delfino, who was driving the other car in an accident that killed Williams' wife and young daughter.

Ted Casablanca of E! Online reveals that Williams plots to kill Britt, but before he can do so, she is involved in a car accident involving electrical wire.

There's no word yet on when the episode involving Britt's departure will air.

Sheridan was not one of the core four "Housewives," roles played by Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Teri Hatcher, but her loud-mouthed, flashy character has been a constant presence and is popular with fans.
