Lohan, Ronson may have split after public spats

MIAMI - It wasn’t a happy New Year for Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.

The celebrity couple engaged in a series of public spats and may have broken up, a source close to Lohan told Access Hollywood.

Lohan has moved out of the home she shared with Ronson and gotten a place of her own, the source said.

Trouble for the women heated up Dec. 30 at club Set in Miami where, despite the presence of their loved ones, the two engaged in a verbal spat.

“Both their families were there, and Lindsay and Samantha just started going at it,” a source told the New York Post, which first reported on the fighting.

On New Year’s Eve, things went from bad to worse as Lohan and Ronson, who were hosting a bash together at club Mansion, reportedly began another fight in public, before taking their shouting match outside.

According to the Post, Lohan screamed at Ronson, “When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!”

The outside fracas caught extra attention as a bystander claimed it occurred in front of an alleged street person.

“It was a really gross alley. There was a bum eating a sandwich and watching the whole thing,” a source told the paper. “Lindsay was really unstable and flipping out.”

The paper claims the war of words later turned into a physical altercation back at the hotel where the two women were staying.

“They were punching each other — it was bad,” another source told the Post. “And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary.”

The Post reported that the fight caught the attention of hotel security, who photographed the room Lohan and Ronson reportedly trashed.

“Mirrors were broken and it was a complete mess,” a source said.

It didn't end there. The women reportedly fought at the airport as they boarded a flight home.

A representative for Lohan reportedly confirmed the women engaged in a verbal fracas.

“There was an argument — I don’t know the details. But they left for L.A. together and it’s fine,” the rep told the Post.

After months of speculation, Lohan only confirmed she was dating Samantha last fall.
