ARBOR VITAE, Wis. - Authorities say two snowmobilers and a passenger died when their vehicles crashed on a trail in northern Wisconsin.

Vilas County sheriff's officials say both drivers and the passenger died Saturday morning in the town of Arbor Vitae.

The names of the dead have not been released.

The state Department of Natural Resources and the Vilas County coroner are investigating the accident.

The town is about 120 miles northwest of Green Bay.
