Actress Zooey Deschanel, who is currently starring in Jim Carrey comedy “Yes Man,” just said “yes” to her own man.

Deschanel and musician Ben Gibbard, the frontman for indie rock act Death Cab For Cutie were engaged over the weekend of Dec. 20, according to Us Weekly.

The two have been dating for almost a year.

Zooey’s holiday film “Yes Man” with Jim Carrey opened at No. 1 at the box office with $18.2 million in weekend ticket sales. The musically minded actress sings in the film and on the soundtrack as part of synth-pop band Munchausen By Proxy, and released her own critically acclaimed album, “Volume One,” earlier this year as part of folk duo She & Him.
