DALLAS - A suspected bank robber wounded security guard and was then killed inside the branch Tuesday, Dallas police said.
The suspect entered a Chase bank branch in south Dallas Tuesday afternoon. Police Chief David Kunkle said the man shot a security guard and a security guard fired back at him.
The security guard suffered minor injuries, Kunkle said. It was not immediately clear if the guard shot the suspect or if the suspect later shot himself.
At least seven other people were inside the bank at the time. They were not harmed.
Police continued interviewing witnesses, Kunkle said.
