SAVANNAH, Ga. - A man suspected of shooting a fellow student at Savannah State University Friday was arrested hours later, officials said.

Campus Police Chief Thomas Trawick said the wounded student knew the suspect and that the shooting Friday morning happened during a fight between them.

The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Devon McIntosh. A police dog sniffed him out and officers found him hiding in the trunk of a car on campus.

The wounded student's name has not been released.
