Rosie O’Donnell is laughing off Barbara Walters’ comments from Thursday morning’s episode of “The View.”

Walters took aim at the former host in the show opening in an apparent response to O’Donnell’s negative comments on Wednesday, noting that some past hosts had the tendency “to dump on (the show), maybe for their own publicity.”

O’Donnell responded to Walters with a new video on her blog titled “Lady,” which opens with a happy photo of herself with Walters dated Nov. 13.

“I do not know what Star Jones and Debbie Matenopoulos did, but oooooh, lady… she is pissed off!” O’Donnell said in the clip.

O’Donnell, who left “The View” in May 2007 after some tense moments with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, has been promoting her upcoming variety show, “Rosie Live,” which airs Nov. 26 on NBC.

On Wednesday, she told reporters that she was pulled into political discussions by the show, and that there was little “camaraderie” behind the scenes of the frequently heated show.

“I didn’t want to be paid to fight,” she said, according to TV Guide. “When I started and took that job it was with the idea of speaking for the millions of mothers whose voices weren’t heard on television.”
