HORNICK, Iowa - One person was killed and six seriously hurt Saturday when a sport-utility vehicle carrying a high school wrestling team collided with a minivan in western Iowa.

The Woodbury County Sheriff's Office says the 53-year-old van driver was killed. The 26-year-old SUV driver and five teenagers were taken to a hospital in critical or serious condition.

The Westwood High School team was on its way to a wrestling clinic. The accident is being investigated.
