KANE, Ill. - An Illinois man is accused of shooting a dog in the face with an arrow as part of a dispute with the animal's owner.
The German shepherd lived, but prosecutors arrested 28-year-old Nathan Settles on Tuesday and charged him with aggravated animal cruelty. That's a felony.
Settles remained in the Greene County jail on $25,000 bond. A court clerk said he doesn't have an attorney.
