In the wake of losing her son, Jennifer Hudson’s sister, Julia, said 7-year-old Julian King’s soul is now “at ease.”

“Because I chose to do what was natural to me and love someone, it cost me my beautiful family. My wonderful, beautiful, loving, supporting mother Darnell, my true blue baby brother Jason… and last but never not least, my only son Julian, my innocent baby that was sheltered from all the evil in the world because we loved him so much,” Julia Hudson wrote in a post on her personal MySpace page.

On Monday, authorities confirmed the body of a young boy found in a SUV was Julian King, Jennifer Hudson’s nephew.

An Amber Alert had been issued for the boy, after he was discovered missing following the murders of the Hudson sisters’ mother, Darnell Donerson, and their brother, Jason Hudson.

“His lil soul is at ease. I take comfort in knowing that Julian is with my mother and my brother,” Julia Hudson’s MySpace post continued. “Now he’s my angel. He’s protecting me.”

The results of an autopsy on the child are expected to be released on Tuesday. Authorities are hoping the results will provide some clues as to what happened when Julian was taken from his grandmother’s home last Friday.

Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond said the boy, like his grandmother and uncle, had been shot.

In her post, filed in the “About Me” section of her MySpace page, Julia Hudson also explained why she was taking the time to write in the wake of her family tragedy.

“Thank you all for your loving support. I know some of (you) have your opinions and you are entitled to that, like why is she logging on to MySpace at a time like this,” Julia Hudson wrote. “Let me tell you why. I was hoping that was a way to maybe help me get my son, my baby, the one I carried under my heart for eight-and-a-half months. The son it took me 21 hours of labor to bring here. The son I grew to know and love for just a few months over 7 years. That’s why.”

She also pointed out that the facts about her and her family in her “About Me” section have tragically changed in the last few days.

“I’m 29 years old. I have one child and I’m always bored. I love to have fun… I have two younger siblings — my sister is Jennifer Hudson. Yes, the Jennifer Hudson. And my brother is Jason,” Julia wrote. “I guess it’s time to update this. When I started my MySpace, all of the above was true.”
