LONDON - British singer Amy Winehouse was hospitalized on Saturday for a series of tests on her lungs and chest, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Winehouse’s rep told Access the singer is still in the hospital undergoing tests, but is expected to return home in a few days.

“They wanted to do some tests as a precaution,” her rep told People magazine. “Obviously she had lung and chest problems which she had treatment for not so long ago, so they’re just making sure.”

Winehouse was reportedly taken to the London Clinic, where she sought treatment for drug problems earlier this year.

“She’s fine,” her rep told People on Monday. “Should be back home today.”

As previously reported on Access, the singer canceled a headlining performance at Paris’ Rock En Seine festival at the last minute in August.

In July, Winehouse was admitted to the emergency room of a London hospital after suffering a reaction to medication following another stay due to lung problems.

And, as for reports that the British singer is facing arrest for assault, Winehouse’s rep told Access Hollywood this is not true.

“This story isn’t accurate,” her rep said. “She is not facing arrest but will be working with police to answer any questions they may have regarding this allegation.”
