LOS ANGELES - Nancy Reagan was released from a hospital where she had been treated for a fractured pelvis, her spokeswoman said Friday.
The 87-year-old former first lady returned to her Bel-Air home with a prescription for daily physical therapy, Joanne Drake said in a written statement. The spokeswoman did not say when Reagan had been released.
Doctors expect a full recovery, the statement said.
Reagan suffered the injury in a fall last week but only decided to have it checked out on Monday, when she was admitted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
The statement said Reagan was grateful for the care she received at the hospital named after her husband, but quoted her as saying, "I hope it won't hurt anyone's feelings if I don't return anytime soon."
The former first lady was also hospitalized briefly in February after a similar fall at home.
President Reagan died June 5, 2004, after a 10-year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
