NEW YORK - Mark Wahlberg has been very vocal with his opinions on Andy Samberg spoofing the star on last week’s “Saturday Night Live.”
And now, watch out Andy — Mark is coming your way!
The “Max Payne” star will make an appearance on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live,” Access Hollywood has learned.
No details were immediately available on the sketch Wahlberg will appear in.
Following Samberg's “Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals” skit on the Oct. 11 episode, Mark sat down with Access Hollywood to promote his new movie, “Max Payne” which opens today. But the talk quickly turned to Andy’s impression.
“I’ve seen it but I don’t think it’s going to be as legendary as Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin, unfortunately,” Wahlberg told Access.
Although he didn’t see the skit on TV, Mark said he came across it on YouTube.
“(It was) flattering, but you know, I wish it was a little funnier,” Wahlberg said with a smile. “You know what was funny? Me doing the imitation of him imitating me.”
And now, it looks like Mark will get his chance to show off his comedic chops in front of a live audience.
