Indiana inmate Eric Wrinkles will be put to death on Dec. 11, 2009 for killing his wife, her brother and his sister-in-law. He has been sharing his story with “Lockup” since 2006 and expresses here his hope to connect with his family before he dies. He gets that chance during an Oprah program on Nov. 10, 2009.

Although inmates in Level 6, the maximum-security facility at the Penitentiary of New Mexico, are granted some perks, it’s not uncommon for them to land longer sentences in prison because of bad behavior on the inside. In this instance, the inmate sets his cell on fire and suffers the consequences.
Prison gangs are not what they used to be, at least according to one of the senior inmates.
