DJ AM made his first public appearance since he was hurt in a Sept. 20 Learjet crash that killed four and injured Travis Barker, at the memorial service for one of those who died, Chris “Lil’ Chris” Baker, on Monday in Los Angeles.

DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, joined more than 300 people at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood, who came to pay their respects to Baker, according to People.

Guests were asked by Baker’s wife, Otillia Villar, to wear green, Baker’s favorite color.

As previously reported, Barker was released from the Joseph M. Still Burn center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga., on Monday, and was unable to attend the service.

“Travis felt so bad to have missed (the service),” a source told People, which reported he is on his way back to Los Angeles on a bus.

Paris Hilton, who briefly dated Barker and is a close friend of DJ AM told Ryan Seacrest, “all the love and support coming in, it really means a lot… He’s such a good person. I feel like God really did save him.”

The crash of DJ AM and Barker’s Learjet has prompted Hilton to rethink how she travels.

“(I’ve flown) in that type of plane, but now I will never go in one again. You never know what can happen,” she added.
