She was just named one of People magazine’s best dressed for baring her legs and slim frame, but thirty-something Gwyneth Paltrow said her new toned body isn’t the result of dieting.

The mother of two told Oprah Winfrey, in an interview airing Wednesday, that even the thought of counting calories and carbs is not in her blood.

“I just cannot diet,” she told the talk show host. “I think maybe it’s the idea that you can’t have something… I just can’t do it.’

Paltrow did stick to one diet in the past, though it wasn’t for weight loss.

She was a famous devotee of macrobiotic eating, which favors seasonal, natural foods.

Paltrow told Harper’s Bazaar earlier this year that she gave up her strict plan when she was pregnant with her second child, son Moses. She told Winfrey losing “those 20 extra pounds” that came with pregnancy for her second child, however, was tough.

Nowadays, with a more open eating plan, that includes roast dinners for her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Paltrow credits her new body with pounding the pavement.

“It’s worth it to me to do that extra exercise so I can eat what I want and not think about it,” she said.
