Star Jones, Al Reynolds finalize divorce

LOS ANGELES - Former “View” co-host Star Jones and her ex-husband, Al Reynolds, have finalized their divorce, Access Hollywood has learned.

“Star Jones and Al Reynolds have reached an amicable settlement in their divorce proceeding and expect the divorce to be finalized in the very near future. Both parties are moving on with their private lives and will be making no further public comments consistent with the terms of their settlement. Thank you for respecting their privacy,” a rep for Jones said in a statement released to Access.

Back in April, Jones discussed her divorce from Al, saying she would emerge “stronger” from the experience.

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman,” Jones said in a statement to Access.

Jones and Reynolds were married in November 2004 in New York City. The massive ceremony included 500 guests, three matrons of honor and 12 bridesmaids.
