Packages start at $623 per person for a four-night escape.

If you’re after a tranquil Caribbean escape, we suggest Turks & Caicos. Just a two-and-a-half-hour flight from New York, the picturesque Caribbean islands feature exquisite diving, secluded white-sand beaches and a wallet-friendly vacation option, courtesy of Expedia. Accommodation for four nights at Northwest Point Resort in Providenciales, plus a round-trip flight from New York, is available from $623. That price is valid for travel in November. Book 30 days in advance of your desired travel dates and you’ll nab a 25 percent discount off your stay. The beachfront condo property features a pool, barbecue area and beach chairs and umbrellas. Rooms are equipped with full kitchens, satellite TV, and wireless internet.

Jamaica all-inclusive from $1,044
For an intimate all-inclusive Jamaican getaway and hotel discounts of 15 percent, consider this package from Expedia: Round-trip airfare plus four nights at the Sandals Inn in Montego Bay is priced from just $1,044. The quote includes all food, drink, and land and water sports at the resort. Guests also have access to the Sandals Montego Bay and Royal Caribbean partner properties. The Caribbean Sea-facing, 52-room hotel is located just a half-mile south of Doctor’s Cave Beach and near the town’s Gloucester Avenue or “Hip Strip.” The sample rate is based on travel from New York before October 31. Reservations must be booked by September 20. All guests must be 18 or older.
