Eva Longoria Parker recently said she not having a baby anytime soon, but her boss on “Desperate Housewives” says otherwise.

“Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with (husband) Tony Parker,” “Housewives’” creator and executive producer Marc Cherry told Us Weekly.

In July, Longoria Parker told Access Hollywood, “I can guarantee you a baby will not be here in nine months. Longer than that, maybe. We’re definitely wanting a family and when it happens, it’ll happen, but it’s no rush and there’s no timeline that we’ve set for ourselves.”

But if the stork arrives, Cherry said he’s high on the list of people the couple will call when they get pregnant.

“After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call,” he told the mag.

The “Housewives” star is getting a taste of motherhood in the upcoming season of the hit ABC show, according to the series creator.

“Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children,” Cherry said of the show’s new season, which leaps five years in the future. “But Eva is having a marvelous time playing her!”
