NYPD: Homeless Man Beaten To Death Near Queens Temple

NEW YORK - Police in Queens are investigating the beating death of a homeless man early Friday.

The man was found dead outside the Gurdwara Sikh Temple in South Richmond Hill, police said.

Residents in the area said the homeless man was often seen near the temple. Police said the man was beaten to death. The medical examiner will officially determine the cause of death.
