August 4, 2008--There's new information in the stabbing death of Dean Davis. A police source tells Channel 13, Davis' death on July 26th in Des Moines, may have been the result of a game.
The source says one of the four men arrested and charged with first degree murder, turned himself in to police, and told them what they needed to know, in order to arrest the other three suspects.
According to the source, the young men played a game called "Victim," in which they would come across a random person and attack them. The source says 19-year-old Roberto Rodriguez took the game further than the others may have intended, and committed the fatal stabbing.
Rodriguez, 21-year-old Brian Curtis Lee, 18-year-old Zachary Kern and 19-year-old Ryan Higgins have all been charged with first degree murder
