CORPUS CHRISTI-The Sharks are hoping a for a good luck landslide this week. Entering the final game of the regular season, they have an outside shot at making the playoffs.

A win on Saturday over Manchester on the road will give them a regular season record of 8-8, a mark that could potentially be shared by five other teams. They have to have a string of four scenarios fall their way in order to punch a ticket to the postseason, including winning back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Of course, they must beat Manchester. Then, Bossier needs to beat Austin to win the division. Rio Grande Valley must lose to Lubbock and Spokane has to beat Boise. Got all that?

"There's so much variability associated with this, Sharks coach Mike Trigg told KRIS 6 News. "You look and try to cling to the ones you have the head-to-head match up with, where if you eventually get paired off, you get the advantage. Unfortunately, out of the six teams that are there, there's really only two of those candidates: one being Boise and the other being the Austin Wranglers."
