Actor Ethan Hawke weds, baby is on way

Ethan Hawke wed former nanny Ryan Shawhughes late last month, according to a new report.

A source close to the actor told People that the couple, who obtained a marriage license in June, wed three weeks ago.

Last month, the NY Post reported that sources saw Hawke and Shawhughes, applying for a marriage license at the Municipal Building on Centre Street in New York City.

Shawhughes met Hawke when she worked as a nanny, looking after his children with Uma Thurman. The two reportedly began dating following the “Dead Poet Society” star’s divorce from Thurman in 2004.

Shawhughes is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child together.
