LOGANTON, Pa. - Gospel singer the Rev. Timothy Wright was critically injured in a crash that killed his wife and a wrong-way driver, police in central Pennsylvania said Saturday.
A hospital spokesman said Wright was injured Friday night along with his 14-year-old grandson, D.J. Wright.
State police said 58-year-old Betty Wright of Roosevelt, N.Y., died in the three-vehicle crash on Interstate 80. The driver of the car that was going the wrong way also died.
Timothy Wright's latest album, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus," came out last year.
Geisinger Medical Center said a passenger in the third vehicle was in fair condition.
