Us Weekly reports that the Lopez and Anthony might still be wrapping 4-month-old Max and Emme in $100 Melissa Masse blankets, but they’re doing so without the help of nannies. The magazine confirmed with Lopez’s rep that the couple is still without outside help, even while traveling abroad. A Lopez confidant also told Us, “The whole 75-pieces-of-Louis-Vuitton-luggage thing is just not happening now. … Being a mother has completely changed Jennifer.”
That’s a good thing: A source told Scoop that before the twins were born, Lopez had picked up a strange travel habit. “Not even the first-class lounge was good enough for her. She kept slipping into a door inside the lounge, so people thought it was like a special VIP area,” said a traveler who witnessed the behavior on many occasions.
“Turns out, it was just a storage closet. Give her credit for wanting to be left alone, but hiding in a storage closet? That's a little extreme.”
Katie Holmes, not Kate, will come to Broadway
Her husband might prefer the more sophisticated “Kate” Holmes to “Katie,” but when the actress hits Broadway in “All My Sons” this fall, Holmes will be billed as “Katie,” the name most of her fans and family call her.
“A lot of discussion went on around her name and billing,” a Broadway insider told OK! magazine. “Eventually it was Katie herself who insisted that she wanted to remain ‘Katie Holmes’ on Broadway.”

Also, don’t expect diva demands of room-temperature Fiji water and white tulips in Katie’s dressing room. Insiders say her room at the theater will have “a sink, mirror and a shared bathroom,” according to the magazine.
‘American Idol’ expanding search to Puerto Rico
The audition schedule for the eighth season of “American Idol” came out, and there’s an interesting stop listed on the itinerary: On Aug. 2, auditions will be held at Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan. Good to see the show is casting the net a little wider — the talent pool seemed a little thin last season.
It would have been nice though to see the age restrictions tweaked: As in recent years, men and women age 16-28 are eligible.
Weekend box office
Finally, a weekend that presents something of a slight challenge. “Wanted,” which stars Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy, opens in more than 3,100 screens. The star power behind “Wanted” should be enough for it to win on Friday night, but I expect “WALL-E,” the latest from Pixar, to take the overall weekend. The family appeal of “WALL-E” (which opens in 3,900 theaters) is strong enough that for at least its opening weekend, the mostly silent love story will take the No. 1 spot.
Have you heard?
Steve Carell has re-upped his contract on “The Office.” We’ll have the awkwardness that is Michael Scott for another three years, according to show creator Ricky Gervais’ blog. … Musician Jason Falkner, who has worked with Beck and Aimee Mann in the past, released his second installment of Beatles lullabies, this one called “Bedtime With the Beatles.” … With the opening of “Dark Knight” upon us, Warner Brothers Home Video is releasing on July 8 a new high-def “Batman Begins” gift set, which will include a sneak peak at “The Dark Knight.”
