LOS ANGELES - Madonna has sought the legal counsel of Fiona Shackleton, the divorce lawyer who represented Paul McCartney during his split from Heather Mills, about a possible divorce from husband of seven years, Guy Ritchie, according to The Times of London.
The pop star reportedly approached Shackleton after initial talks with a different law firm.
A rep for Madonna told Access Hollywood, “No comment at this time.”
Ritchie is reportedly being represented by Mayfair law firm Forsters.
Madonna is worth an estimated $590 million, and the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, according to The Times.
When contacted by Access, a rep for Shackleton said, “We have a policy of not speaking with the press.”
In addition, the firm reportedly representing Ritchie told Access, “We are not instructed on this matter.”
