LONDON - Amy Winehouse has been released from the hospital following treatment for a serious lung condition — but the songstress is already lighting up.

The British chanteuse was photographed having a cigarette on Monday, while on her way to rehearse for a scheduled performance at Friday’s Nelson Mandela birthday celebration.

Despite her father Mitch’s claims that Winehouse had already been diagnosed with emphysema, her rep told Access Hollywood, “Amy is showing early signs of what could lead to emphysema and is receiving treatment.”

Doctors have reportedly told the singer that smoking will only worsen her condition.

Mandela concert organizers were pleased with Winehouse’s rehearsal, a rep for the singer told People, but her appearance at the celebration is not a sure thing.

“Doctors have to give it the final sign off, but it went well,” the added. “She will really enjoy it — she always does.”
