SANTIAGO, Chile - Authorities say they have found the wreck of a single-engine plane missing for four days in southern Chile — and there are several survivors among the 10 people aboard.
Deputy Interior Minister Felipe Harboe says four survivors have already been rescued and five others are believed to be alive.
He says the pilot of the Cessna Caravan was apparently the only fatality.
Police Gen. Robert Gotschlich says the survivors found Wednesday are injured, but no details were immediately available.
The airplane disappeared Saturday during a flight from Puerto Montt to La Junta, a small village further south in the Aysen region.
It crashed in a thickly wooded area.
