Jake reportedly ready to start family with Reese

Although rumors of wedding bells have circulated around Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon for months now, a new report in OK! magazine claims Jake is interested in more than a wife — he’s ready to start a family, too.

“(Jake) knows he might be jumping the gun thinking of kids, but he knows that Reese is the one,” a friend of the actor told the magazine. “He laughs and says he needs to propose and do this the right way. It really is first comes love, then comes marriage — cheesy as that sounds, it's the way he thinks!”

It seems Jake’s grown so fond of playing part-time dad to Reese’s two children, 8-year-old Ava and 4-year-old Deacon, he can’t wait to expand the family. And Reese thinks he’s ready for the job, according to another source.

“Reese has admitted that Jake has grown from when they first met into this very dependable dad type,” said a pal of the “Legally Blonde” star. “He's ready to have his whole life change.”

Shiloh hits the terrible twos
Earlier this week, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turned 2 years old and, adding to the typical mood swings that come with the terrible twos, the tiniest tot of the Brangelina bunch has to come to terms with the fact that she won’t be the baby much longer. This latest family transition is proving a challenge for Brad and Angelina, reports Life & Style.

“They’re aware that this is the end of Shiloh’s time as the baby of the family,” a Brad insider explained. “As much as they want Shiloh to feel secure, she’s going to have to make do with even less attention from Mommy.”

She may get less attention, but Shiloh will get loads more competition in the form of her soon-to-be twin siblings. Sources tell Life & Style she’s just not excited about the new additions.

“(Shiloh’s) adorable, and they love her, but Brad and Angie have been having a lot of problems with her,” a close source revealed. “She still wants to be the baby — she wants to sleep with Mom and Dad. And Shiloh throws a fit whenever they go shopping and Angie asks her whether she wants to buy the twins something.”

Gwyneth’s sexy secret
If you want to look like Gwyneth Paltrow, be prepared to sweat. In an interview with Usmagazine.com, celebrity chef Mario Batali revealed the “Iron Man” actress’ secret to a slim shape.

“I think she works out three hours a day - which is one of the keys to success," the top chef revealed. “If we all did that, we’d all look like Gwyneth Paltrow, or at least closer.”

Mario is currently working with Gwyneth on their upcoming PBS special “Spain … On the Road Again.”

Dish on the fly
She has a film to promote, but Mischa Barton’s nowhere to be found. Last week the actress bailed on the chance to support “You and I” in Cannes, and now director Roland Joffé claims she’s MIA in London, too. In a BBC Radio 1 interview (excerpted in Page Six) the filmmaker shared his woes. “She hasn't pulled out of interviews, she's pulled out of everything. … Her room is here, she is here, but trying to get the two together has just been impossible. We just don't know where Mischa is.” … “Office” actress Jenna Fischer has her summer downtime all mapped out. “I am drinking margaritas and sitting by my pool,” she shared with People magazine. “That is what I'm doing.”
