He may not be dating Jennifer Aniston anymore, but Vince Vaughn still looks out for her.

The National Enquirer reports that the “Wedding Crashers” star is so concerned about his favorite “Friend” falling head over heels for John Mayer that he called to warn her away from the bad-boy musician.

“You can’t be serious — this guy is just using you to make a name for himself,” Vince told Jennifer, according to the magazine’s source. He was also said to insinuate that John notifies the media before stepping out with Jen.

As for Jennifer, she’s not buying it and was “highly amused by the whole conversation,” said the source, who went on to say, “She told Vince that in case he didn't notice, John already had quite a name for himself — with or without dating her — and if Vince didn't like the reports that were surfacing, he should stop reading the papers and spare himself a heart attack!”

Fur still flies for Lohan
Remember that fur coat Lindsay Lohan allegedly nabbed from a fellow partygoer? Earlier this week the mink’s original owner filed a lawsuit against LiLo, but thanks to a publicity-loving club owner, the scandal may finally be coming to an end.

“Many times people take the wrong coat thinking that it's theirs at my nightclubs,” John JE Englebert of Prime and Suzi Wong Saki fame said in a statement featured on OKmagazine.com. “I am offering to take Lindsay on a mink shopping spree with me, to have the coat of her choice.”

Once he supplies the actress with a new fur, Englebert then wants to help put the brakes on the related lawsuit. “My motto has always been, 'If the coat fits, buy it'” he said.

Dish on the fly
Deciding that it’s better to skip the service than distract from it, Beyoncé Knowles no longer take a place in the pews. “I can't really go to church any more, which is a shame,” she says. In a quote posted to ContactMusic, the R&B singer-turned-actress admits that her fame interferes with faith. “People have come up to me in church during the sermon and, of course, people watch everything I do. They come up and take my picture on their mobile phones. They're very nice, but I think God understands if I miss Sunday service.” … Well-meaning fans who send a round of Cosmopolitans to Kristin Davis’ table are just wasting their money. The “Sex and the City” actress never tries the concoctions — for a good reason. “I'm a recovering alcoholic,” Kristin confessed in Health magazine. “I've never hid it, but I've been sober the whole time I've been famous, so it wasn't like I had to go to rehab publicly. I get sent Cosmos. I never drink them." … Paris Hilton just can’t stop copycatting her BFF Nicole Richie. First she snagged a carbon copy of Nicole’s main man Joel Madden by hooking up with his identical twin brother and fellow Good Charlotte rocker, Benji. Now, just like Nic, she wants a little Harlow to call her own. “I do want a baby,” the heirhead told Heat magazine. “Pretty soon. Not yet because I'm so busy, but next year.”
