Page views surge to over 58 million; unique users nearly 9 million

With more than 58 million page views on the day of the MSNBC Democratic candidates' debate, msnbc.com had the biggest traffic day for any presidential debate day on record. The site also set a two-day debate video record on February 26 and 27, with 1.2 million on-demand video streams of debate-related content. This was the highest on-demand video stream total served for any political debate. And over nine million unique users visited msnbc.com on February 26, 2008.
