E. Wash./N. Idaho - We got a little gift from Mother Nature Sunday morning as we saw cooler, sunnier weather. A cold front just raced across the area taking alot of rain with it. The center of the rainmaker is still north of us and could bring some rain in the afternoon.

Conditions will stay windy with gusts up to 25 or 30mph as the next bit of energy pushes over the area this afternoon and evening. Winds should begin to calm down overnight.

With Monday comes another chance for rain. Late Monday night toward early Tuesday we'll see the back end of the current unsettled pattern.

A huge high pressure system looks to set up and send afternoon temperatures possibly into the 80's. The warming should start Thursday and last through Saturday.

We can look forward to a sunny and hot Lilac Parade next weekend.
