SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Valley Police are looking for two black males who robbed a man at gunpoint shortly after midnight Saturday.

A man and his girlfriend were in the parking lot of the Oxford Suites at 15015 E. Indiana when a man brandishing a black pistol confronted them. The man's girlfriend ran away but he stayed and surrendered his cash.

The robber fled eastbound on Indiana to Sullivan, in a Mitsubishi Gallant or similar Subaru sedan driven by a second man.

Officers were unable to find the suspects.

The gunman is described as a black male, around 6'03" tall, 170 pounds, with short black hair. The victims said he spoke with a foreign accent and was neatly dressed in blue jeans and a white tee shirt that featured gray emblems of some sort.

The getaway driver was described as shorter than the gunman and "chubby." He had short black hair, but the victim could not describe his clothing.

Both suspects are believed to be in their late 20's.

The victim said he saw the two and their car parked along the curb at a nearby Sears Store between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. Friday. He said the car was "deep ocean blue" color with a spoiler on the rear trunk.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects involved is encouraged to call the Spokane Valley Police at 242-TIPS.
