The Orange County Sheriff's Department released the identities and new details of two men linked to a series of identity thefts at a Los Gatos Lunardi's store.

More than 200 Los Gatos Lunardi's customers have had their identities stolen in recent weeks. It is not clear if the suspects arrested in southern California were linked all of the thefts, but Los Gatos police told NBC11 they want to talk to them.

On April 27 shoppers at a Lucky's market in San Clemente called the Orange County Sheriff's office about two men who were seen taking large amounts of money out of the ATM, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies reported to the scene and tailed the car on the freeway before pulling it over, according to the sheriff's office.

Witnesses identified the two men and deputies found multiple blank ATM cards, maps and $70,000 in $20 bills, according to the sheriff's office.

Thai Nam Lieu, 30, and Haiau Han, 29, were arrested, the sheriff's office said. They were released two days later after posting bail.

The sheriff's office confiscated 25 blank ATM cards, ATM surveillance video, about 350,000 $20 bills and a hand-drawn map of ATMs in the area when he pulled them over.

Police said they believe an ATM and credit card reader in a checkout aisle at the Los Gatos Lunardi's supermarket was recently switched, resulting in the identity theft cases.

Victims reported losing an average of $1,000 from their bank accounts, reported NBC11's Garvin Thomas.

Police reports in Los Gatos began April 28 and have continued since, police spokesman Tam McCarty said.

Police said they believe there are other suspects out there who have not been caught.

All the money came from ATM withdrawals. Investigators said the thieves used card account numbers from two victims from Los Gatos and Monte Sereno.

At this time, the other account numbers the two suspects were allegedly using cannot be linked to other victims who used their debit cards at the Lunardi's Supermarket in Los Gatos.

Los Gatos police said withdrawals continue to happen and now they are noticing a shift in the location of withdrawals.

The majority of the illegal withdrawals early on happened in Southern California, but now police said they are seeing more illegal withdrawals in Northern California.
