The suspects struck one of the residents in the head with a rock and also punched one of the other residents in the face.

The person hit in the head has been taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the robbers did get away with some things from the apartment, although it was not immediately clear what they took.

Witnesses reported seeing the suspects running away from the apartment carrying a suitcase, then getting into a grey or silver 1980's Chevrolet Celebrity type vehicle, leaving westbound on Cora. Multiple police units responded to the area, but the vehicle was not located.

The investigation into the incident is continuing and anyone with information about it is asked to call the tip line at 242-TIPS.
