‘Superbad’ snags 5 MTV Movie Awards nods

NEW YORK - The nominees for MTV Movie Awards are chock full of nerds.
“Superbad” leads with five nominations, including best movie and nominations for Jonah Hill, Seth Rogan, Michael Cera and McLovin’ himself, Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
Cera is also nominated for best kiss with Ellen Page in “Juno,” which has four nominations in all, including best movie. The other nominees for best movie are “Transformers,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 3,” “I Am Legend” and “National Treasure 2.”
The other nominees for best kiss include Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey for “Enchanted,” Shia LaBeouf and Sarah Roemer for “Disturbia,” Daniel Radcliffe and Katie Leung for “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman for “Step Up 2.”
Winners will be announced June first in Universal City, Calif., in a show broadcast live on MTV.
