Ring sparks Mariah Carey engagement rumors

LOS ANGELES - Mariah Carey was spotted with a dazzling new piece of bling on her finger Saturday night at the after party for her new film, “Tennessee,” at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, according to People.

The ring wasn’t the only bit of arm candy Carey had with her — she also had Nick Cannon on her arm too.

The duo was reportedly spotted holding hands after the movie, spurring engagement rumors for the new couple.

When Cannon was asked what he loved about Carey, he told the mag, “Everything!”

Carey, on the other hand, would only profess her love for another little man in her life, saying, “I’m in love with my dog. He is my special someone. I love spending time with him.”

Previously, Carey and Cannon were spotted in Las Vegas cozying up to one another during a night of partying at Prive Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood, People reported.

When contacted by People, a rep for Cannon had no comment on the possible engagement, while Carey’s rep was unable to be reached.
