LOS ANGELES - “American Idol” champ, and singer of infidelity anthem “Before He Cheats,” Carrie Underwood opened up to InStyle about her own experiences with a cheating man.

“I’ve been cheated on a time or two. It’s tough,” Underwood said in the May issue of the magazine. “I wouldn’t recommend doing any property damage, though,” she adds, referencing her Grammy-winning song about a woman who seeks revenge on a cheating boyfriend by trashing his truck.

The country cutie has been previously linked to Jessica Simpson’s current QB crush, Tony Romo, and “Gossip Girl’s” resident dreamboat, Chace Crawford, but the singer would not divulge who stepped out on her.

“Now I’m to the point where you get one shot. Life’s too short,” Underwood warns any future men in her life.

Regardless of Underwood’s past bouts with philanderers, she revealed to the magazine she has found a new sweetie in her life.

“Ice cream is my friend. If anybody sees me eating a sundae and I look unhappy, something bad has happened. I am drowning my sorrows in fudge and caramel and whipped cream,” she said.
