The number of people affected by Valley's hepatitis and HIV scare continues to grow. The Health District says an additional 10,000 patients were treated at the Endoscopy Center during the four year period the center was reusing syringes and vials of medicine.

Those people did not find out their health was at risk from the health district. Instead they were notified by their insurance companies.

That brings the total number of patients potentially exposed to hepatitis and HIV to 50,000.
