LOS ANGELES - “Dancing With the Stars” professional dancer Tony Dovolani was taken to a hospital Tuesday night, Access Hollywood has learned.

Dovolani, who is partnered with Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur this season, hurt himself following Tuesday night’s professional dance to the music of Sheryl Crow.

While it was originally believed the severity could have kept him from returning to the show for next week’s taping, it appears all is fine with the dancer and he’ll be back in action on Monday.

Dovolani is the second professional dancer to make a hospital trip in just days.

Last week, fellow pro Derek Hough, who is partnered with Shannon Elizabeth, hurt his neck while rehearsing for a dance to accompany musical guest Kylie Minogue.

He was transported to hospital and his pal, Mark Ballas, had to fill in for him in the professional dance. Hough also required the help of Jonathan Roberts in rehearsals with Shannon, due to his injury.

Hough did however return to dancing and competed to a score of 28 out of 30 on this week’s show.
