According to Us Weekly, Montag’s publicity team (who deserves congrats in their own right for turning Montag into the brand she is) wasn’t able to make it happen. Los Angeles city council member Tom LaBonge told the magazine, “We rarely accept alterations of an historic monument.”

In related news, here’s a follow-up to the rumors regarding another pet adoption for Hilton: Although all involved parties had ample chance to respond before Wednesday’s column was published, Bobbi & the Strays would like to make clear that Hilton will not be adopting a dog from their shelter and that they do extensive due diligence before adoptions.

“Those bad influences are out of his life. And she's really been there for him, which is amazing.”
