SAN FRANCISCO - Robin Williams and his wife, Marsha Garces Williams, are ending their almost 19-year marriage, Access Hollywood has learned.
Marsha Garces Williams filed for divorce from the comedian on the grounds of irreconcilable differences in San Francisco on March 21.
The couple first met when Garces Williams worked as a nanny for the actor and his previous wife, Valerie Velardi, taking care of their son, Zachary.
Garces went on to work as Williams’ personal assistant before marrying the comedian in April 1989.
Robin, 56, and Marsha, early 50s, have a daughter, Zelda, and a son, Cody, together.
