Adnan’s other woman speaks out

There’s another side to those reports of Britney Spears blowing up at paparazzo boy-toy Adnan Ghalib after discovering his steamy text messages from another woman. Amanda Pagel, the other woman in question, tells In Touch that she was just as shocked as Brit to learn of Adnan’s two-timing ways.

Apparently the photog, who met Amanda in January, convinced her that his relationship with Britney was purely platonic. “The first time he came over to my house, I asked about Britney,” Amanda told the magazine. “He swore they were just good friends. He promised they weren’t having sex and he kept reminding me what a hard time Britney had been through. ‘We’re close and I’m supporting her through difficult times,’ he told me.”

Amanda might have seen Adnan’s story for what it was had she not ignored the red flags, like his insistence that they never be seen together. “We never went out in public — I thought he was protecting Britney’s feelings,” she explained. “He kept saying, ‘As soon as she’s back on her own feet, we can go public.’ I suspected he might be lying, but I wanted to believe him.”

It was Adnan’s “great sense of humor” and expert smooching skills that hooked Amanda, but she now admits she wasn’t emotionally strong when she met him. “I fell for him because I was feeling vulnerable after my breakup, like Britney, and he made me feel amazing about myself.”

J.Lo’s over-the-top mommy demands
She’s known for difficult and detailed contract riders when performing, but now that Jennifer Lopez has added “mommy” to her resume, those around her have trouble keeping up with the needs of the nesting diva. According to Star magazine, even hubby Marc Anthony has had enough.

“Jennifer is incredibly particular, even obsessive, in most aspects of her life,” a friend revealed. “Did anyone think it would be different once she had kids? … Right now, it’s all about shouting orders and writing checks. Marc says Jennifer is driving him to the edge of a cliff and he’s gonna jump if things don’t calm down.”

In addition to Jennifer’s previously reported diva demands concerning all aspects of the children’s nursery, J.Lo’s gone overboard with baby-proofing everything for Max and Emme. “It wasn’t a matter of going to a baby store and buying $1.49 wall-socket covers,” the family pal told Star. “She had experts overhaul the homes to make them kid-friendly. It cost tens of thousands of dollars.”

Though Marc’s said to be at the end of his rope, the insider says he’s keeping his sense of humor. “Marc tries to joke around about it. When he sees some of the bills Jen’s racking up, he teases, ‘You know you’re spending our twins’ college funds, don’t you?’”

Dish on the fly
When she learned her BFF Christiane Plante had an affair with her father, Hulk Hogan, Brooke turned to her MySpace blog to vent about her fractured family. On Monday, she posted an update with a message of forgiveness. “Your father is your father,” she said. “Nothing is thicker than blood. No matter how angry, sad or depressed you are, your family will always love you no matter what... Yes, I’m still hurting very deeply inside, but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.” … Bad boy Brandon Davis just keeps bouncing around. After getting banned from the Setai in South Beach for disorderly behavior, and being evicted from his friend’s pad after allegedly stealing a diamond watch, Page Six reports Brandon has moved back to L.A. But the oil heir’s troubles didn’t stop there, as security guards allegedly gave Brandon the boot for “screaming and yelling and waving around a bag of white powder” at Lauren Conrad’s fashion show.
