NEW YORK - The call girl linked to the downfall of New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has left her Manhattan apartment -- and may not be coming back.

A spokesman for the building where Ashley Dupre has been living declined to divulge Friday what, if anything, he knows about her whereabouts.

On Thursday night, Richard Shea issued a statement indicating Dupre's fellow tenants were fed up with the media circus and curiosity-seekers. The apartment building charges around $3,400 monthly for a studio and $6,595 for a two-bedroom.

The statement said Ashley Dupre approved alerting the media that she is not currently in the building, and that management doesn't anticipate her return in the near future.
