Combi USA, Inc. of Fort Mill, S.C., has decided to conduct a voluntary safety recall of the Centre, Centre ARB, Shuttle and associated Travel Systems after the products failed to perfrom in collision tests.
Name of Products: Centre, Centre ARB and Shuttle
Number of products recalled: 67,000 child safety seats
Hazard: Combi USA, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Transport Canada revealed that the car seat could potentially become separated from its base in motor vehicle frontal crashes.
Incidents/Injuries: Combi received no reports of injuries to date regarding the Centre, Centre ARB and Shuttle.
Description: This recall involves Combi USA Inc. Centre, Centre ARB and Shuttle (Model Nos. 8065, 8074, 8086, 8087 and 8520) and associated Travel Systems containing Centre and Shuttle (Model Nos. 4400, 4515, 4520), which are infant car seats with harness-height-adjustment systems and adjustable handles.

Remedy: Combi urges customers to contact them for a free retrofit kit.
