MOBILE, Ala. - Authorities say they've recovered a body that's believed to be the last of four children allegedly thrown off a coastal Alabama bridge by their father.

The Coast Guard says boaters found the body in the Gulf of Mexico about 100 miles from the bridge.

Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran says Alabama officials won't be able to confirm the body's identity until they get it back. But crews have ended the search of Alabama and Mississippi coastal waters based on the recovery.

Cochran says hopefully this will bring closure to the family in this stage.

Officials have already found the bodies of the three other children.
